MINI-WORKSHOP BLED 2008: FEW-QUARK STATES AND THE CONTINUUM

         Bled (Slovenia), September 15-22, 2008

                     FOURTH CIRCULAR
                        

Dear Colleagues,


Our meeting is approaching rapidly. Just a few final hints.

1. Please consult regularly the web-page of the workshop:
   http://www-f1.ijs.si/Bled2008
   You will find there the updated list of participants, 
   the titles and outlines of their topics, 
   as well as some general and travel information.

2. You are encouraged to bring with you your recent (p)reprints
   for display in the reading room 
   (and a few more for distribution, if you like).

3. A wireless internet connection will be available, as well as an overhead
   projector and an LCD projector (beamer). Participants are encouraged to
   bring their laptops (with a wireless card). If you are not bringing
   your own laptop, put your talk on a CD or a USB memory-stick.
   Standard transparencies are encouraged as a back-up.

4. We expect both warm weather suitable for swimming and rowing, as well as
   some rainy or chilly day. Do not forget to bring your
   swimming suit, hiking boots or at least good shoes and warmer clothing 
   for the conference hike,  and an umbrella.

5. If you arrive by car, you will see soon after the beginning of Bled
   a gas station on your right, then after a few hundred meters a
   crossroad with traffic lights. You turn right following the sign POKLJUKA. 
   After 500 metres on your left there is Villa Plemelj 
   (address: Pre"sernova 39). 
   If you come to Hotel Jelovica or Hotel Astoria 
   or the bus station you are 100 metres too far.   

6. For the Conference Fee (see our home page, First Circular)
   we cannot accept credit cards or traveller cheques.
   You may bring cash or get cash at the bank. Those staying
   at a hotel can of course pay the hotel bill with credit card.

7. On both Mondays there will be no talks. However, we shall organize 
   nice walks or some social activity for those who arrive early 
   and/or leave late.

8. If you send us in time (preferably before September 4) your arrival time
   and flight number (or railway station Lesce-Bled)
   we shall do our best and try to pick you up.
   If for unexpected reasons we do not appear within 30 minutes, 
   please take a taxi.Villa Plemelj is located  just before the Bled 
   bus station.
