I am currently employed at Institute "Jožef Stefan" as a young researcher under supervision of doc. dr. Rok Žitko. More information about me can be found in my CV.

Research interests:

Kondo effect and quantum impurity physics, strongly correlated materials, cold atoms optical lattices. I use numerical tools, especially the Numerical Renormalization Group (NRG) and the Dynamical Mean Field Theory (DMFT). I am also interested in Quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) solvers for impurity systems in context of DMFT as well as bosonic lattice simulations.

Most recent publication:

Fine structure of spectra in the antiferromagnetic phase of the Kondo lattice model
Žiga Osolin, Thomas Pruschke, Rok Žitko
Phys. Rev. B 91, 075105 (2015) (PDF)

Padé approximant approach for obtaining finite-temperature spectral functions of quantum impurity models using the numerical renormalization group technique
Žiga Osolin, Rok Žitko
Phys. Rev. B 87, 245135 (2013) (PDF)

Teaching:

I am currently an assistant for Physics 1 for Faculty of Computer and Information Science.

Other interests:

I have been involved in (game) programming since the beginning of high school; especially on rendering and effects technology.
